Par maniAbout

Esmu studējošs arhitekts un jauns profesionālis, tāpēc šī nav gara biogrāfija, drīzāk neliels ieskats manā sākuma fāzē. Man nav īpaša stāsta par to, ka no bērnības būtu gribējis kļūt par arhitektu, un neuzskatu sevi par īpaši apdāvinātu zīmēšanā, arhitektūru izvēlējos tāpēc, ka man padevās matemātika, fizika, un mani kaut kādā līmenī saistīja būvniecība. Profesija mani patiesi aizrāva pēc pirmajiem darbiem reālā vidē un pavadītajām naktīm studijā.I'm a student architect and an early-career professional, so this isn't a long biography, more a small glimpse into where I'm starting from. There's no dramatic story of wanting to be an architect since childhood, and I don't consider myself especially gifted at drawing, I chose architecture because I was good at math and physics, and construction connected with me on some level. The profession really pulled me in after my first work in a real environment and nights spent in the studio.

That's the satisfaction, when plans become walls and real mass, something you can lean against or just look at. There's a particular feeling in seeing, in real life, something you spent so much time on behind a computer or over a sheet of paper, seeing the mass from the outside while knowing every smallest detail inside it.

Following industry masters opens up a different world, not just drawing a wall so it meets code, but giving that wall meaning, feeling. It's remarkable to see what people are able to achieve, and it inspires reaching for bigger, higher-quality goals, thinking about how spaces or environments get used, how a person feels in them, what stays behind afterward, what it takes to create them.
